Join us on a full-day excursion along Albania’s spectacular southern coast—from the tranquil village of Borsh, passing through the historic center of Porto Palermo, the Castle, and concluding with the stunning sea views of Himara.
First Stop: Borsh Waterfall—A Hidden Oasis
We begin our adventure from Saranda, heading to Borsh, where we can enjoy a coffee break immersed in the magic of the Borsh Waterfall. A tranquil spot, surrounded by nature and ancient stone buildings, its beauty will captivate you.
Second Stop: Porto Palermo—Ali Pasha Castle
We continue to Porto Palermo, where we will visit Ali Pasha Tepelena Castle, built on the ruins of a Venetian fortification. Overlooking the bay, the castle was used as a submarine base during the Soviet alliance in Albania. The fortress offers a fascinating view and tells the story of the Cold War.
Third Stop: Himara – View from the Castle and Lunch by the Sea
Our final stop is the picturesque coastal town of Himara. We begin with a visit to Himara Castle, which offers panoramic views of the Ionian Sea and surrounding mountains. Next, we’ll head to the pedestrian promenade, where you’ll have free time to relax or enjoy lunch at one of the many seaside restaurants. Whether it’s fresh fish, traditional Albanian dishes, or a cool drink overlooking the sea, Himara has something for everyone.
In the afternoon, we’ll return to Saranda, enjoying a panoramic view that will enrich our trip with unforgettable stories and memories of this pristine coast.
