Day 1 – Arrival in Tirana and Shkodra
Arrival in Albania and transfer to Shkodra, located in the north of the country. After checking in to your hotel, we’ll visit Shkodra Castle, which offers spectacular views of the lake and the city. Next, we’ll take a boat trip on Lake Shkodra, the largest in the Balkans, to enjoy the sunset. The evening will conclude with a stroll through the city center.

Day 2 – Shkodra, Durrës and Berat
After breakfast, we’ll depart Shkodra for Durrës, one of Albania’s oldest cities. Here, we’ll explore the ancient Roman amphitheater and the historic center, before continuing on to Berat. In Berat, we’ll stroll through the historic neighborhoods of Mangalem and Gorica, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. We’ll also visit a winery for a tasting of local wines.

Day 3 – Berat, Apollonia, Bylis and Gjirokastra
After breakfast, we’ll begin the day by visiting the Onufri Museum, famous for its collection of Byzantine icons. Next, we’ll head to Apollonia, an ancient Illyrian city with Roman ruins and a beautiful natural landscape. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Bylis Archaeological Park, famous for its historical remains, and finally arrive in Gjirokastra.

Day 4 – Gjirokastra and Përmet
Visit Gjirokastra Castle, home to one of the city’s most important museums, and a traditional house museum that reflects local life and architecture. Free time to explore the artisan bazaar, where you can purchase traditional souvenirs. In the afternoon, we’ll depart for Permet, stopping for a glucose tasting at a local factory. We’ll end the day relaxing in the thermal waters of Benja, before hiking in the Langarica Canyon, weather permitting.

Day 5 – Permet, Leskovik, Boboshtica and Korça
Our journey continues to Leskovik, with a scenic stop near Nemërçka Mountain. We’ll visit an artisanal distillery that produces raki and gin, where we’ll have the opportunity to taste local products. Afterward, we’ll stop in the quaint village of Boboshtica for a traditional lunch with folk music and a lakrori-making demonstration. In the afternoon, we’ll arrive in Korça and visit the city’s main attractions.

Day 6 – Korça, Pogradec, Drilon and Tushemisht
The day will begin with a visit to the Museum of Medieval Art in Korça, which houses a rich collection of icons and religious objects. We will then move on to Pogradec, where we will take a stroll along the shores of Lake Ohrid. Continuing our journey, we will reach Drilon, a natural park with thermal springs, and then Tushemisht, where we will enjoy a traditional lunch by the lake. The evening will end in Tirana, with free time to explore the city.

Day 7 – Kruja and Tirana
We will depart for Kruja, a historic city home to Kruja Castle and the Skanderbeg Museum, dedicated to the Albanian national hero. After a visit to Kruja’s traditional bazaar, we will have lunch in a typical area and continue our journey to Tirana. In the afternoon, we will take a panoramic tour of the capital, visiting Skanderbeg Square, the Ethem Bey Mosque, the Castle of Art, and the Pyramid.
Overnight stay in Tirana.
Day 8 – End of the tour
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight, according to departure times.
