This tour is ideal for lovers of history, archaeology, and nature. Over three full days, we will visit the most important historical and cultural sites in Southern Albania, accompanied by licensed guides.
Day 1: Butrint – Ksamil – Finiq – Saranda
Explore the ancient city of Butrint, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and its main monuments. After the visit, relax in Ksamil with breathtaking views of the islands and crystal-clear waters, where lunch will also be served. In the afternoon, visit Finiq and return to Saranda for an evening at leisure.
Day 2: Adrianopolis – Antigonea – Gjirokastër
Visit the Roman city of Adrianopolis and Antigonea, a city founded by King Pyrrhus. Lunch will be served in a local house with traditional dishes. In the afternoon, arrive in Gjirokastër, a UNESCO museum city, where you can explore its characteristic streets and traditional bazaar.
Day 3: Gjirokastër Castle and Bazaar
In the morning, visit Gjirokastër Castle and the Gallery of Armaments; the visit to the House Museum is optional. Then enjoy free time to explore the traditional bazaar. After a free lunch, the tour concludes with the return journey to Saranda.
