Day 1 – Arrival in Tirana
Arrival at Tirana International Airport and meeting with your local guide. Transfer to your 4-star hotel, followed by a walking tour to discover the capital’s main attractions: Skanderbeg Square, the Et’hem Beu Mosque, the Clock Tower, the New Bazaar, and the vibrant Blloku neighborhood.
Overnight in Tirana.
Day 2 – Bovilla Lake and Mount Dajti
Departure for Bovilla Lake (about 45 minutes), where you’ll enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view and some free time. Afterwards, you’ll board the cable car to Dajti National Park, with the option of lunch at the top of the mountain.
Return to Tirana for some free time in the large city park and on the lake.
Overnight in Tirana.
Day 3 – Prizren and Gjakova (Kosovo)
Departure for Prizren (approximately 3.5 hours), a city rich in Ottoman history. Stroll through the old town and have lunch at a traditional restaurant. Afterwards, continue to Gjakova, famous for its ancient bazaar and distinctive architecture.
Overnight stay in Gjakova.
Day 4 – Gjakova to Valbona (Albanian Alps)
Departure for Valbona Valley National Park (approximately 2.5 hours), a corner of paradise in the Albanian mountains. In the afternoon, you can go on a hike or relax in a cozy Alpine guesthouse surrounded by nature.
Overnight stay in Valbona.
Day 5 – Ferry across Lake Koman and Shkodër
Transfer to Fierza (approximately 45 minutes) and board the panoramic ferry across Lake Koman (approximately 2.5 hours). Arrival in Shkodër (approximately 2 hours) and a stroll to discover the city, with its Venetian and Austro-Hungarian architecture.
Overnight in Shkodër.
Day 6 – Kruja and Durrës
Departure for Kruja (approximately 2 hours) to visit the Castle, the traditional bazaar, and (optional) some local museums. Afterwards, continue to the coastal city of Durrës (approximately 1.5 hours) for a relaxing evening along the waterfront.
Overnight in Durrës.
Day 7 – Berat (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
Departure for Berat (approximately 2 hours), the “City of a Thousand Windows.” Visit the castle, located on the hilltop, and the Onufri Museum of Iconography (optional). Lunch and visit the historic neighborhoods of Mangalem and Gorica.
Overnight in Berat.
Day 8 – Departure
Transfer to Tirana International Airport (approximately 2.5 hours) for your return flight.
End of tour.
